This is Bore Tech’s original patch and solvent collection system that removes all the fuss and muss of cleaning far behind. The Patch Hog was invented to eliminate the mess and neutralize odors associated with cleaning firearms. With the Patch Hog you’ll never touch a dirty patch again. Plus, say good bye to smelly trash cans. The Patch Hog simply slips over the muzzle of any firearm and fastens securely with a scratchresistant rubber washer. The star washer grips up to 2" dia. barrels, and fits over iron sights. Next, screw on a plastic soda or water bottle to the threaded end to catch your spent patches. Just unscrew the bottle from the Patch Hog and screw on the old lid when you’re done and throw it away—that’s it.

Der Patch Hog wurde erfunden, um das Chaos zu beseitigen und die Gerüche, die mit der Reinigung von Feuerwaffen verbunden sind, zu neutralisieren. Mit dem Patch Hog wirst du nie wieder ein schmutziges Patch anfassen müssen. Außerdem kannst du dich von stinkenden Mülltonnen verabschieden. Der Patch Hog wird einfach über den Lauf jeder Feuerwaffe geschoben und mit einer kratzfesten Gummidichtung sicher befestigt. Die Sternscheibe passt auf Läufe mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 2" und passt über Kimme und Korn. Als Nächstes schraubst du eine Plastikflasche für Limonade oder Wasser auf das gewinde, um deine verbrauchten Patches aufzufangen. Schraube einfach die Flasche vom Patch Hog ab und schraube den alten Deckel wieder drauf, wenn du fertig bist, und wirf ihn weg – das war's.

Works well on all of my long guns. Really does keep all of the chemicals and patches in the bottle and not on the kitchen table! ;)

I am on my 2nd Patch Hog. First one I gave away to one of my friend who was so impressed with it. Keeps cleaning fumes down, eliminates additional handling of chemicals and dirty swabs.

Say goodbye to solvent odors (21.11.2012)

This patch trap is outstanding. No more solvent spray from brushing. No more strong solvent odors in the house. All the dirty patches are in the bottle, so you don't have to mess with them after cleaning. This product really minimizing the mess of rifle cleaning. If you use it at the range, you don't leave your dirty patches at the range or have to pick them up after cleaning. I use Sweets, which has a really strong odor. After using this product, my wife doesn't complain about me cleaning my guns in the house. For all the married folk out there, it helps keep peace in the household!

Not all bottles work (23.06.2013)

I think this would be a great product if I could actually use mine. I've tried it with 3 different bottles now: water bottle x2 and Mountain Dew bottle. Now of these 3 bottles fit. The water bottles' spout are too small for the patch hog and the pop bottle wasn't long enough for the patch hog and it just fell out. I was under the impression from the description this would work with bottles, all bottles. At this point I'm not happy at all, I wasted my money. Be warned you'll have to try out many different bottles to find the right fit. I'm still looking.
