great to protect in gunsafe (06.01.2018)

great item when filling the gunsafe/s. I have 15+ of these - prevents scratching in the gun safe and additional protection when several are stacked horizontally in a truck rear seat, etc. plenty big enough for bigger precision stocks + 8X32 scopes. much more protection than a sock. ID w a tag

My hunting rifle has been stored in this sock between hunts. No freckling/rust or anything but good blue on the rifle stored in non humidity controlled sfe. Ive purchased several for handguns same results.

Bore Stores works (02.05.2011)

I have had my Savage Mark II 22 cal rifle in a bore stores for several years, while transporting to and from range, in the vault to prevent dings, etc. The silicone impregnated cloth has preventedy rust to form as well.I wipe my firearms down with a cloth after range use and bore stores completes the protection. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, the velcro closure system could be improved.

Very practical handgun protection (09.08.2016)

I have used a set of 3 of the P4 12 inch protective storage handgun cases for about 15 years. I use them for long-term storage in a locked hard gun case and they keep my handguns in perfect condition, even when humidity is high. They are also excellent to keep my guns from being scratched or dinged in their hard cases during transport to and from the range. They remain effective for a very long time. I am buying more of them.

The case is very soft and durable. Fits my revolvers with 6" and 6 1/2" barrel perfectly. It is easy to place the handgun in the gun safe and will prevent nicks and scratches. In addition, the cases prevent rust without oiling the firearm.

Lightweight, padding protects guns finish, easy to insert and remove gun, positive velcro latch. I have used these for years to store my handguns in and out of the safe - have never had a corrosion problem. I would be interested in reading feedback from someone down south(Texas to Florida) where the high humidity would really put these to the test.

I thought I'd give these Bore Stores a try and I'm glad I did. I purchased a P-2, P-3, and P-4 to determine what guns would realistically fit into what sized product. My Ruger P-94 fits

in a P-2, my Browning Hi-Power fits into a P-3 with room

to spare, and my S&W mod. 27-2, 6" bbl. works real well inside

a P-4.

Bore Stores are extremely well made, provide more than adequate protection for your firearm with a more than ample amount of fleece type lining, and have a very stout Velcro closure. On top of all that, they're made in the USA.

Now that I have these 3 cases and am totally satisfied with them, I've got A LOT more of 'em to purchase. An excellent product all the way around. I highly recommend Bore Stores!

Looking for a bag to store my second barrel in a gun cabinet. This is a thicker than expected bag - think horse blanket. Thick enough to be used to transport the second barrel in the car with the gun in a soft case. Beyond expectations.

Best firearms protection available (28.03.2013)

I have used Bore Store bags for the past 20 years and will continus to do so as long as they are available. Every firearm I own is kept in a Bore Store bag, even my 50 BMG single shot. I had to have that bag custom made, but it was well worth the small price. All you have to do is clean and lightly oil the gun and put it in the bag. I love these things!
