OK gas tube 09.01.2014
Bought this for a new build and, having bought one in the past, was expecting YHM's usual level of excellence. As a tube goes, it works just fine but I can't give it five stars for cosmetic reasons. The black paint, or whatever it is, on the tube was missing on almost half of it, which doesn't affect the function, but does affect the appearance. Why does one buy a black gas tube? For the looks, of course. YHM might want to check their quality control on this one.
Great Idea if it didn't come blemished 19.12.2013
I ordered this for an all black AR I am building and thought it would be a good idea to get a black gas tube. I saw this product and it was a good price so I ordered it. It just came today and the black is coming off and I haven't even taken it out of the package. Right at the bend there is a 1 inch patch that has worn off and a couple small places on the tube. If it were just the small patches it would be fine. I have yet to test the product as to its functionality but I have no doubts it will work right. Just disappointed at the appearance since that is what a black gas tube is mainly purchased for. I would recommend this product, but caution of blemishes.
